Computer Use for DeepSeek Harness ports the full Codex window2 computer-use surface to DSH on Windows: 13 desktop tools (list_windows, click, type_text, drag, set_value, ...) driven by SendInput and UI Automation, screenshots via Windows.Graphics.Capture that work even when a window is occluded, a cancellable overlay with a synthetic cursor, and a bundled skill.
Computer Use for DeepSeek Harness drives Windows desktop apps and Chromium tabs from a DSH session using the full Codex window2 tool surface: all 13 official methods (list_windows, get_window, list_apps, launch_app, get_window_state, click, press_key, type_text, scroll, set_value, drag, perform_secondary_action, activate_window) with the same names, parameters, defaults, return shapes and error strings as Codex. Real input goes through SendInput, the accessibility tree comes from UI Automation, and screenshots use Windows.Graphics.Capture so they work even when a window is occluded, arriving as vision image parts rather than base64 inside JSON. A visible status pill and animated synthetic cursor form a cancellable overlay (Esc interrupts the turn), the pill hides during each screenshot so the model never reads its own status back, and — because the desktop is process-wide — the pointer/overlay/capture/approvals live on the HOST plane while the model-facing tools live in an agent preset, so an ordinary coding session never receives the mouse. A local experience layer records machine-specific notes after a task and replays them as advisory context before the next.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:wushi2333/dsh-computer-use_codex-styleCopied verbatim from the README's install block; the README also documents a local-checkout form and a packed-tarball form, and notes the bundle declares dsh.bundle.patch so dsh plugin adds the HOST-plane row and links the package with no install-time script.
Compatibility
Windows 10 1809+ or Windows 11, x64 only; DeepSeek Harness (source checkout or installed dsh CLI); Node 20+; Python 3.10+ only for the optional browser catalog. The Rust+Node helper ships prebuilt, so no rebuild is needed. Coexistence-safe with the official experimental Computer Use release, but running both drivers at once is not recommended.
