dsh-api-kit is a local-first way to give a DeepSeek Harness web profile a governed set of HTTP APIs. Settings → API Kit lets you create and manage Kits, Operations, Environments and Service Targets, inspect safe authentication metadata, and import OpenAPI/Swagger JSON; each Kit can be selected per conversation, and the agent calls fixed HTTP Operations through agent tools rather than ad-hoc curl. The design keeps credentials on the Host — resolved at request time and never returned to the browser, agent tools or runtime context — so the agent can use an approved API while the secret never enters the model's context, and the registry of what is callable stays explicit and reviewable.
