liangjieWeb/dsh-sys-monitor
Shows the host machine's live CPU perf levels, memory, GPU and network throughput in the DSH Web GUI as six progress bars refreshed once a second. A platform-driver layer answers the same six questions on macOS, Linux and Windows — Apple-silicon P/S/E core split, IOReport/procfs memory, nvidia-smi GPU, netstat/procfs network — and never invents a number: anything the machine does not publish renders as an em dash with the reason on hover.
dsh-sys-monitor shows the host machine's live CPU perf levels, memory, GPU and network throughput in the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI as six progress bars with the current value on the right, refreshed once per second. The rows are CPU (perf levels P/S/E on Apple silicon, with busy percent and clock), Memory (busy percent and used/total), GPU (busy percent and clock) and the two network directions (byte deltas over the physical interfaces). Captions stay one letter or one arrow and hovering a row explains the sample with the full name — which tier the cores belong to and how many, the load average, how much memory the compressor holds, what the GPU is mapped to, how many interfaces feed the throughput. On macOS the split comes from hw.perflevelN sysctls matched against the IORegistry cluster-type, memory from vm_stat and vm.swapusage, GPU busy from ioreg Device Utilization % and network from netstat; on Linux from cpuN topology, /proc/meminfo, nvidia-smi and /proc/net/dev; on Windows from the runtime's GlobalMemoryStatusEx, nvidia-smi and netstat. Collapsed, the panel keeps two of the rows.
Install
dsh plugin --profile demo add github:liangjieWeb/dsh-sys-monitorCopied verbatim from the README's install block (the GitHub form; the README uses the demo profile in its examples). The npm form the README also lists (@liangjie-web/dsh-sys-monitor) does not resolve on registry.npmjs.org as of 2026-10-11, so the GitHub form is the one recorded here.
Compatibility
A DSH plugin for the Web GUI. A lib/platform/ driver layer is the only code that knows which system it is on, answering the same six questions on macOS, Linux and Windows and never throwing or inventing a number: an unsupported platform, a virtual CPU or a container without /sys falls back to the portable driver (what the runtime itself reports) and anything unpublished renders as — with the reason on hover. Where a machine publishes more, an installed open-source tool is preferred to parsing a kernel file (nvidia-smi is the GPU row when present).
