Likenttt/garmin-connect-plugin-for-dsh
Connects DSH or any MCP agent to Garmin Connect, exposing activities, sleep, steps, heart rate, weight, workouts and profile as 10 AI-callable tools with secure browser-based MFA.
This plugin connects DeepSeek Harness (or any MCP-compatible agent) to Garmin Connect, exposing wearable data as AI-callable tools. It registers 10 tools: get_garmin_activities, get_garmin_sleep, get_garmin_steps, get_garmin_heart_rate, get_garmin_weight, get_garmin_workouts, get_garmin_profile and get_running_skill_advice read Garmin data; download_garmin_activity_fit writes one local FIT file on the host; and create_garmin_workout changes the Garmin workout library. Workout creation is a two-call flow — a preview returns a one-time confirmationId that expires after 10 minutes, and the create call must repeat the unchanged definition with confirmed: true. When multiple Harness accounts are configured, the stable account ID shown in settings is passed as the tool's account argument.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-plugin-garmin-connectCopied verbatim from the README's install section. The README also documents a garmin-connect-auth serve system-browser MFA flow and MCP URL elicitation for other agent clients.
Compatibility
Built for DeepSeek Harness and designed to work with other MCP-compatible agents (the README lists WorkBuddy, Qwen Work, ZCode, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Windsurf as clients that connect through MCP or a SKILL.md workflow). MFA support in 0.1.6 covers local dsh Web, the garmin-connect-auth serve system-browser flow, and MCP URL elicitation for China and International accounts.

FAQ
- Can the agent change my Garmin account without asking?
- Only create_garmin_workout writes to the workout library, and the README requires an explicit two-step confirmation (preview, then a confirmed call with the unexpired confirmationId). download_garmin_activity_fit writes a single local FIT file; the other eight tools only read.
