TYEclipse/dsh-geodesy
dsh-geodesy is a geodesic math toolbox for DeepSeek Harness with zero runtime dependencies: nine local tools cover great-circle distances and bearings, destination points, DMS parsing, rhumb lines, great-circle path intersections, spherical polygon areas, cross-track distance and point-in-polygon tests, all using the IUGG mean Earth radius.
dsh-geodesy is a geodesic math toolbox for DeepSeek Harness that moves Earth-surface math out of the model's head. Its nine tools are geo_distance (haversine great-circle distance with initial and final bearings and a 16-wind compass direction, in km/m/mi/nmi), geo_bearing (initial and final bearings plus the great-circle midpoint), geo_destination (the direct geodesic problem with a round-trip distance check), coord_parse (decimal, DMS, suffix and pair coordinate strings to decimal degrees plus formatted DMS), geo_rhumb (constant-heading loxodrome distance and bearing, with the great-circle distance for comparison), geo_intersection (nearest and antipodal crossings of two great-circle paths with distances from both starts), geo_area (spherical polygon area and perimeter via spherical excess, always including the complementary region), geo_cross_track (signed cross-track distance, along-track distance to the perpendicular foot, the foot's coordinates and whether it lies between the endpoints) and geo_point_in_polygon (both sides of the boundary, boundary hits and the containing region's area).
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:TYEclipse/dsh-geodesyCopied verbatim from the README's Install block. The README notes pnpm must be on PATH and that the profile's services are restarted (or dsh restart web) afterwards.
Compatibility
A DeepSeek Harness plugin of nine purely local, deterministic spherical-trigonometry tools - no network and no side effects. The README notes it exists because LLMs reliably fumble geodesic math (mixing latitude/longitude order, wrong Earth radius, forgetting degrees-to-radians, botching DMS conversions, treating spherical polygons as planar).
