Castor6/BrowserRig

Lets trusted coding agents run Playwright against your existing Chromium-family browser - reusing your real signed-in profile, cookies, sessions and extensions - instead of launching a separate headless browser. It avoids Chrome's recurring remote-debugging approval dialog, and session adopt --active attaches to the active tab in the last-focused window in one command; BrowserRig is an independent MIT-derived open-source product owning its own CLI, npm package, extension and Store identity.

BrowserRig lets trusted coding agents run Playwright against your existing Chromium-family browser, reusing your real signed-in profile - cookies, sessions and installed extensions - instead of launching a separate headless browser. It is built for the gap between browser automation and a person's daily browser: it does not connect to Chrome's browser-wide remote-debugging endpoint so it avoids the recurring Allow remote debugging? approval dialog, and session adopt --active finds, attaches to and adopts the active tab in the last-focused browser window in one command. BrowserRig is an independent open-source product derived from an MIT-licensed upstream driver but owning its own CLI, npm package, browser extension and Store identity.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add browserrig

Copied verbatim from BrowserRig's DSH install line; the package is also installable globally (npm install --global browserrig) and as an agent skill (npx skills add Castor6/BrowserRig --skill browserrig -g).

Compatibility

Uses your existing Chromium-family browser profile (Chrome/Edge etc.); the README notes it avoids Chrome's browser-wide remote-debugging endpoint and therefore the recurring Allow remote debugging? dialog. English README with a 简体中文 translation.
