A3Boy/dsh-web-tools
Connects ten web providers (Exa, Tavily, Firecrawl, Parallel, Brave, You.com, Jina, SearXNG, Xiaohongshu and Twitter/X) to DeepSeek Harness's standard web_search / web_fetch interface, compiling unified search intent into each provider's native parameters instead of flattening them to a lowest common denominator, with multi-key allocation and automatic failover.
dsh-web-tools solves the problem that web access on a single provider breaks when its quota, rate limits or timeouts hit, while naive multi-provider proxies flatten the engines to a lowest common denominator. It connects Exa, Tavily, Firecrawl, Parallel, Brave, You.com, Jina, SearXNG, Xiaohongshu and Twitter/X to DSH's standard web_search / web_fetch interface. While keeping that interface unified, it normalizes search intents through SearchHints and compiles queries into native provider-specific parameters — each engine's own categories, freshness filters, domain policies, regional targeting and content extraction — using deterministic code rather than an extra LLM call. Uptime is maximized through multi-key allocation, automated failover and dedicated browser profiles, so social retrieval (Xiaohongshu, Twitter/X) and deep content extraction work alongside ordinary search.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:A3Boy/dsh-web-toolsCopied verbatim from the README's Install block (GitHub form). The same section documents update (dsh plugin --profile web update dsh-web-tools) and remove commands.
Compatibility
A DeepSeek Harness Web-runtime plugin (the README badges it as 'DeepSeek Harness Web Runtime'). It keeps the standard web_search / web_fetch contracts so the agent's tools are unchanged; provider selection, keys and browser profiles are configured per provider. Source builds are documented via pnpm (pnpm install, then cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web && pnpm install).
