highlightpin lets you pin any passage in a DeepSeek Harness conversation so compaction cannot take it away: at three levels (recall, resident, highlight) it re-inserts the source text verbatim near the tail or in the system prompt, storing serialized source text rather than screen text and rejecting rather than truncating when over budget.
highlightpin lets you pin any selected passage in a DeepSeek Harness conversation so compaction cannot take it away. Select a stretch of text in a finished message and pin it with one click; from then on the model receives the source text, not a summary. Each pin carries one of three levels: pin (default) does nothing while the text is still in context and re-inserts the extract verbatim near the tail only once compaction drops it, so it cannot break the prefix cache on its own; resident lives in the system prompt with neutral wording; highlight lives in the system prompt with emphatic wording and lets the latest explicit instruction win. What is stored is serialized source text rather than screen text - formulas are stored as TeX source, code keeps its indentation, and alignment reports source-exact, source-normalized or rendered fidelity. The decision is a pure function that keeps no ledger, over-budget additions are rejected outright rather than truncated, and a /hlpin command family (list/last/show/drop/level) exposes the same controls from the command line.

Compatibility
peerDependencies declares >=0.1.7-rc.1 <0.3.0-0 and the DSH plugin manager blocks installation/activation on a mismatch; verified live on 0.2.0-rc.2, offline suite passes on the 0.1.7 line, and <= 0.1.6 / >= 0.3.0 are unsupported. Selections must stay within one finished message; streaming messages, reasoning content and tool output are not supported, and one writer host per profile. English README with a Chinese translation.
