dsh-a2a-notify is a DeepSeek Harness host plugin that raises real Windows balloon notifications when a session is created, starts running, finishes or errors - across every workspace, including headless sessions created by an A2A dispatcher or dsh --print that would otherwise run to completion silently. It watches the on-disk session store to catch short-lived headless processes the API events cannot announce.

It solves two hard facts about DSH internals: headless sessions never announce themselves, so it runs a second channel with fs.watch over the session store and deduplicates, and the DSH process tree is desktop-isolated so balloons spawned by the Host or a child never reach your desktop. It fires on api-session/added, api-session/status running and idle, and api-session/error.
Install
dsh plugin add github:hsiu1214/dsh-a2a-notifyCopied verbatim from the README's Install block; restart DSH afterwards because plugin code is loaded at Host boot. A release-archive tarball is documented as an alternative.
Compatibility
Windows 10/11 only - the dispatcher needs PowerShell 5.1 and WinForms, both inbox. Built against DSH 0.2.0-rc.2, whose internals it documents by experiment. English README with a 中文 translation.
