dsh-email gives your DSH agent a full email inbox: six tools (email_list, email_read, email_search, email_send, email_folders, email_attachment) let the agent check unread messages, read full content, search by subject/sender/recipient/CC, send mail with attachments after a human-approval gate, list folder structure, and download attachments to the session workspace. Pure IMAP/SMTP — no shell, no native binaries.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-emailnpm package dsh-email 0.6.2 (registry-verified 2026-08-24). After install restart dsh web. Ships with an empty config and won't crash startup. - How do I configure my QQ mailbox?
- Select the QQ preset in Settings → Mail (dsh-email) and the IMAP/SMTP host and port fill automatically. Enter your QQ email address and authorization code (not your login password — generate it from QQ Mail → Settings → Account → POP3/IMAP service) and click Save & Apply.
- Does email_send send immediately?
- No — by default it pauses and shows a confirmation dialog listing the recipient(s), subject, and attachment count. Mail is sent only after you approve. This gate can be toggled in configuration.
- Where are downloaded attachments stored?
- email_attachment saves files to the current session workspace directory, so the agent can read them immediately. File size is capped by the configurable maxAttachmentBytes limit.
