SPYQWER1/dsh-codex-tools
Codex-backed web_search, image_gen, and image_vision tools for DeepSeek Harness, reusing ChatGPT OAuth login state.
Registers three tools provided by ChatGPT Codex inside DeepSeek Harness: codex_web_search (searches the public web and returns a summary with source URLs), image_gen (generates a bitmap image; does not edit or transform an existing image), and image_vision (reads a local image and returns a description or an answer to a question about it). It consumes an existing Codex/ChatGPT login rather than providing one. Credentials resolve from CODEX_ACCESS_TOKEN / CODEX_REFRESH_TOKEN environment variables first, then $CODEX_HOME/auth.json or ~/.codex/auth.json; after an HTTP 401 the transport refreshes the token automatically.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-codex-toolsnpm package dsh-codex-tools 1.0.3 (registry-verified 2026-08-28): dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-codex-tools, or dsh plugin --profile web add github:SPYQWER1/dsh-codex-tools. Remove with dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-codex-tools. Requires an existing Codex/ChatGPT login — it consumes credentials, it does not provide login or an LLM provider.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness. Requires a ChatGPT/Codex login state (codex login auth file or OPENAI_CODEX_API_KEY / OPENAI_CODEX_REFRESH_TOKEN).
