SeekerCodes/dsh-ui-deepseek-balance

A DSH Web client plugin that shows your DeepSeek API balance in the Web UI, reading it directly from DeepSeek's official balance endpoint so the figure is live rather than estimated. The README documents a verify step and the data source and pricing notes.

Install

cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web && pnpm add dsh-ui-deepseek-balance

README install step 1 (run inside the web profile directory; replace web with your own profile name). Step 2 appends one row to ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml — the profile user patch layer, so no fork and no rebuild. npm package dsh-ui-deepseek-balance 0.1.2 (registry-verified 2026-09-11; registry repository field -> github.com/SeekerCodes/dsh-ui-deepseek-balance).

Compatibility

Needs a DeepSeek Harness build with shell.overlay support — the README flags that the npm release lags the repository, so a recent build (or the repo build) may be required; see the README's Compatibility section. The patch row is added to the user patch layer rather than forking the harness.

Recent updates

README documents the compatibility split (the published npm release lagging the repository) and the security note for the credential used to read the balance.

FAQ

How do I install dsh-ui-deepseek-balance?
Run cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web && pnpm add dsh-ui-deepseek-balance, then append the documented row to ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml and restart the profile (substitute your own profile name).
Why does the balance not show up?
The plugin requires a DSH build with shell.overlay support; the README notes the npm release lags the repository, so check the Compatibility section and use a recent build.

No — installation adds one row to the profile user patch layer in cordis.patch.yml; there is no fork and no rebuild.
