Abu is a locally-run AI desktop assistant that handles multi-step tasks on your machine — reading files, running commands, writing documents, and building reports without leaving your computer. Inspired by Claude Code's Cowork mode, Abu adds 29 built-in skills, multi-agent parallel execution, browser automation with an optional Chrome bridge, computer use (screenshot + mouse/keyboard), IM bot integrations (Lark/DingTalk/WeCom/Slack), and a self-evolving skill system that crystallizes repeated workflows into one-click skills. DeepSeek Harness is among the first planned pluggable runtimes.

Download from github.com/PM-Shawn/Abu-Cowork/releases/latestSigned and notarized macOS builds available. Windows and Linux builds in releases. Download the installer for your platform — no manual npm setup required for end users. DSH integration in progress (currently uses Abu's native harness; planned: pluggable agent runtimes with DSH as first target).
