Vendor parameter translation and deterministic JSON repair: /translate command maps 13 canonical parameters from 11 manufacturers; post-execute repair layer + fix_json tool repairs bad JSON in tool output (escape/remove trailing commas/truncate closure/null placeholder completion), never fabricate data
dsh-translate is a pure-host DeepSeek Harness plugin with two independent surfaces. /translate maps vendor API parameters (temperature, top_p, max_tokens, stop, system and 8 more canonical params) across 11 vendors — OpenAI, ERNIE, Qwen, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Mistral, Cohere, xAI, Groq, Azure — with pairwise mapping lookups or whole-request conversion via transformRequest. The repair layer is a tools/post-execute listener plus a fix_json tool: when a successful tool result carries broken JSON as a string, it repairs deterministically — markdown-fence extraction, escape repair, trailing-comma removal, truncation closure, and required-field completion with explicit null placeholders. No value is ever invented: a result that still violates its schema fails closed, and failed tool results are never flipped into successes.

FAQ
- What does /translate do?
- It maps vendor API parameters across 11 vendors (OpenAI, ERNIE, Qwen, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Mistral, Cohere, xAI, Groq, Azure) — pairwise mappings, vendor/param listing, or whole-request conversion.
- How does JSON repair avoid inventing data?
- Repairs are deterministic (fence extraction, escape repair, trailing commas, truncation closure, null fill for missing required fields); a result that still violates its schema fails closed, and failed tool results are never flipped into successes.
- Does it call a model?
- No — repair is fully deterministic and makes no extra model calls; it runs as a tools/post-execute listener plus the fix_json tool.
