mrbeandev/dsh-discord-notify
dsh-discord-notify sends one-way Discord webhook notifications from DeepSeek Harness: alert on turn start, turn end, selected tool calls or a JavaScript regular expression matched against bash commands, with the webhook URL stored as a write-only secret, mentions disabled and tool arguments excluded by default.
dsh-discord-notify sends one-way Discord webhook notifications from DeepSeek Harness. It can notify a channel when an agent turn starts, when an agent turn ends (including its reason, on by default), when a selected tool is called, or when a bash tool command matches a JavaScript regular expression - configured from Settings -> Plugins -> Plugin configuration -> Discord notifications. Per-alert message templates use {{variableName}} placeholders with a strict allowed and required variable set per alert type (for example a matching-bash alert can use sessionId, sessionName, workspaceName, turn, step and command, requiring sessionId and command), dynamic values are escaped before interpolation, the sender display name is configurable, and a Send test notification button queues a test through the saved host-only webhook.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-discord-notifyCopied verbatim from the README's Installation block; the README also documents a local-development form (dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-discord-notify) and a packed-tarball form (npm pack then dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-discord-notify-0.1.1.tgz).
Compatibility
One-way only: it sends messages to Discord and never reads them, exposes no commands and lets no Discord user interact with DSH. The webhook URL is registered as a DSH role('secret') setting, removed from remote settings reads and never returned to the browser after saving; mentions are disabled with allowed_mentions.parse: [], and tool arguments are excluded by default because they may contain prompts, file paths, tokens or other sensitive data. Invalid, oversized or potentially catastrophic regular expressions and non-Discord webhook URLs are rejected before settings are saved, regex matching is limited to the first 16 KiB of a bash command to protect the shared host event loop, and delivery failures are logged without printing the webhook URL or request body.
