GitHub Device Flow connect plus an in-conversation PR workflow: a status bar above the composer for create / AI-review / merge, and github_* tools for search, issue and PR read and write.
dsh-github-connector connects your GitHub account to DeepSeek Harness in one click and lets you create, review and merge pull requests without leaving the conversation. It uses GitHub Device Flow from dsh settings (no token copy-pasting), shows a PR bar above the composer when your branch is ahead of the default branch (create PR / AI review / merge, triggered by git state), and exposes model-side tools: github_search, github_issue_read, github_pr_read, github_issue_create, github_issue_comment and github_pr_create. For CLI/headless use a GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable instead; the token stays in the host process and never touches a config file.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-github dsh-github-rest dsh-tool-github dsh-github-connect dsh-ui-githubPrerequisites: Node >= 22.19, pnpm, and the dsh CLI (npm install -g @deepseek-ai/dsh). All five packages were re-verified live on the npm registry on 2026-10-01 (dsh-github 0.1.0, dsh-github-rest 0.1.0, dsh-tool-github 0.1.0, dsh-github-connect 0.1.3, dsh-ui-github 0.1.4), each with its repository field back-linking to kaziii/dsh-github-connector. Substitute your own profile name for web; dsh-ui-github renders in the web client only, so skip it on non-web profiles.
Compatibility
Node >= 22.19, pnpm, and the dsh CLI. Works with any profile (web/headless/tui); dsh-ui-github is web-only. For CLI/headless use, set the GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable (a personal access token with repo scope).
