diqierjia/StrataGate-AgentMemory
Cross-session memory that keeps recent conversations detailed and condenses older ones, with an evidence gate and use-based reinforcement.
StrataGate is a cross-session memory plugin for DeepSeek Harness: recent conversations stay detailed, older conversations grow more concise while original records remain available when needed, and important decisions, preferences and plans become long-term memory. It adds an evidence gate that makes the agent judge whether retrieved memories actually support the answer (with code validating that cited evidence comes from the selected batch), and it reinforces only memories the agent actually used by moving their decay anchors. Memory is exposed under DSH Settings.

Install
dsh plugin --profile web add stratagate-dshCopied verbatim from the README's 'Quick start: DeepSeek Harness' block, whose own comment says to replace web if you use another profile. The README then says to restart that profile and keep using DSH normally.
Compatibility
The README's development section requires Node.js 22.19.0 or later within the 22.x series, or 24.0.0 or later (^22.19.0 || >=24.0.0); persistent memory uses SQLite (StrataGate.open()). The README states the 0.2.0 DSH family is supported as a whole.

FAQ
- Do the evaluation numbers cover the whole benchmark?
- No. The README states the results cover only conv-26, not the full LoCoMo dataset, and that they do not isolate the benefits of short-term decay, the knowledge graph or the evidence gate.
- What stops the agent from inventing memories?
- The README describes an evidence gate with a fixed, compact assessment structure that requires an explicit judgment of sufficiency, while code validates references and protocol constraints — cited evidence must come from the selected retrieval batch.
