DSH ExpMem adds long-term personal memory to DeepSeek Harness in inspectable local files: it keeps user habits, reusable task experience and engineering insights in a MemGPT-style archive with Generative-Agents-style importance, relevance and recency retrieval and reflection, idempotently importing Claude Code and Codex Markdown memory instead of copying session events.

DSH ExpMem adds long-term personal memory to DeepSeek Harness in inspectable local files - user habits, reusable task experience and engineering insights kept as local JSON records. It combines two research lines: MemGPT-style infrastructure (tiered storage, memory pressure signaled at 70% context pressure, retrieval, explicit memory operations) and Generative Agents-style cognition (assigning importance, retrieving by relevance plus recency plus importance, synthesising reflections through a pending -> prepared -> completed run, and using those memories when planning the next action). Session history stays the verbatim Recall layer while the agent promotes durable experience into the Archive, so memory stays trustworthy and inspectable rather than silently rewritten.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add @creative-dswork/dsh-expmem

Copied verbatim from the README's install line; the README also documents a local-development form using dsh plugin --profile web add ..

Compatibility

A community plugin for long-term personal memory in DeepSeek Harness (not an official DeepSeek project). DSH keeps ownership of Recall (verbatim session history), context compaction and the Agent Loop; ExpMem owns the distilled Archive, retrieval ranking, reflection provenance and the memory lifecycle, and does not copy session events. It can idempotently import Claude Code and Codex Markdown memory.
