cesaryike/dsh-image-to-path

Lets DeepSeek Harness text-only-model conversations accept images: DSH normally sends dropped images as base64 attachments, which text-only models reject outright. This plugin intercepts drag & drop / paste, saves the image into the current session's workspace under dsh-image-to-path-uploads/, and inserts a filename chip into the composer so the model receives a full file path it can hand to any tool — including vision tools. Multimodal models are detected and keep the native attachment channel; content-addressed dedup ensures one copy per unique image, and images already in the workspace are referenced in place.

FAQ

Does it affect multimodal models?
No — the plugin probes the current model's capability: image-capable models keep the native attachment channel; only confirmed text-only models get the path-based flow.
Where are the images saved?
Under dsh-image-to-path-uploads/ in the current session workspace (configurable via the subdir option); the directory is safe to clean at any time.
Will the same image be copied twice?
No — content-addressed dedup keeps exactly one file per unique image, and images already present in the workspace are referenced in place.
