ZichengGurrr/dsh-window#kit
All-in-one bundle for DSH: the native Windows desktop window (WebView2), DeepEye vision (GLM-4V-Flash), and voice input (mic button) in a single install.
Puts the DeepSeek Harness Web UI into a native standalone Windows window (WebView2/Edge engine) instead of a browser tab. It ships as a DSH plugin with a desktop_launch tool and automatic install/upgrade, as a slim build for people who already have Node, or as a portable bundle with Node.js, the full DSH package and MinGit included so it is unzip-and-double-click. The all-in-one kit adds GLM vision and voice input alongside the desktop window.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:ZichengGurrr/dsh-window#path:/kitREADME install for the all-in-one kit (desktop window + GLM vision + voice input), which is the /kit subdirectory of the repo. The standalone desktop plugin is a separate command: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-window. The portable build (no prerequisites, bundles Node.js + DSH + Git) is a release ZIP you unzip and double-click; the slim build (~256 KB) requires Node plus npm i -g @deepseek-ai/dsh, and DeepSeek Harness Window.exe --install adds a start-menu entry, desktop shortcut and control-panel uninstaller.
Compatibility
Windows 10/11 for the desktop window (C# + WebView2 — the build only needs the system csc). The slim build requires Node.js at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\nodejs and a global @deepseek-ai/dsh install; the portable build requires nothing (it bundles Node.js, DSH and MinGit, ~180 MB). The GUI is the local DSH web page (default http://127.0.0.1:3080), which this app starts with dsh --profile web --host 127.0.0.1 --port 3080 and shows in an embedded WebView2 window instead of a browser tab.

FAQ
- How do I install the DSH desktop window?
- As a DSH plugin: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-window (or the all-in-one kit with dsh plugin --profile web add github:ZichengGurrr/dsh-window#path:/kit). Alternatively use the portable release ZIP (no prerequisites) or the slim build (needs Node and a global @deepseek-ai/dsh).
- Does the portable build need Node.js installed?
- No — the portable build bundles the Node.js runtime, the full @deepseek-ai/dsh package and MinGit (~180 MB), which is the price of unzip-and-go. The slim build requires your own Node install.
- How does it run the harness?
- The DSH GUI is normally the local web page at http://127.0.0.1:3080; this app starts the service (dsh --profile web --host 127.0.0.1 --port 3080) and swaps the browser tab for an embedded WebView2 window.
