DeepSeek Design is a native visual design system for DeepSeek Harness by iPolloWork: describe a website, app prototype, poster, card, report, or presentation in conversation, and Harness generates or modifies real editable HTML/CSS/design-token files in the current workspace; open the Design or PPT view beside the conversation to preview, edit elements directly on canvas, or select an element and use Ask AI to refine just that object. It is an open design workflow in the spirit of Claude Design: AI goes from intent to artifact, the Studio goes from artifact to detail, and the result stays a real, saveable, re-editable file in the workspace. deepseek-idesign covers websites, app prototypes, posters, info cards, data reports, and magazines; deepseek-ippt adds slide decks with PDF/PPTX export; deepseek-ivideo adds HyperFrames-timeline video with 28 templates. Design tokens unify colors, fonts, radii, shadows, spacing, and component visuals; editing is reversible (save/undo/conflict detection).
Install

Part of the DeepSeek Design system by iPolloWork: three independently installable npm packages (deepseek-idesign for websites/app prototypes/posters/cards/reports, deepseek-ippt for slides, deepseek-ivideo for video) sharing one Studio contract. Install only Design: npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add deepseek-idesign, then npx @deepseek-ai/dsh web. Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness (current version, developer preview), Node.js ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0, pnpm for plugin management. Native plugin — appears as Design/PPT/Video views inside the Harness conversation; reuses the current session, model, workspace, and permission system. Does not install or start the iPolloWork desktop app; each plugin loads only its own Studio. Workspace-scoped: only reads/writes the workspace design/ directory (design/<sessionId>/, design/<sessionId>-ippt/, video/<sessionId>/). Ask AI only fills a draft in the conversation; it never auto-sends. License: iPolloWork Source Available.

- Does it replace DeepSeek Harness or the iPolloWork desktop app?
- No — it enters Harness as a native plugin reusing the current session, model, workspace, and permission system. Installing a plugin never installs or starts the iPolloWork desktop app.
- Where are my designs saved?
- As real files in the Harness workspace: design/<sessionId>/ for Design projects, design/<sessionId>-ippt/ for PPT, video/<sessionId>/ for Video. They remain readable and editable by later conversation turns.
- Can the AI edit one element without touching the rest?
- Yes — select an element on the canvas and use Ask AI: the plugin assembles the explicit file, location info, and current styles into a conversation draft that you confirm before sending. It never submits automatically.
