DSH Session Manager: manage conversations, archive/restore, delete safely, open record folders.
dsh-archived-sessions is a session manager plugin for DeepSeek Harness Web: it adds a Session Manager panel in Settings where you can manage every conversation on the machine in one place. Features: two tabs — All conversations (non-archived) and Archived; two view modes — flat list or grouped by workspace (sessions without a workspace fall back to 'Ungrouped'); browse by title and relative time newest-first; real-time search filter by title or ID; checkbox / drag-to-select / select-all / batch archive (records kept) / batch delete (permanent with confirmation modal); 'Delete session' button moved to the opened session's title bar (🗑 trash icon) with a fine-grained confirmation dialog that lets you optionally delete sub-conversations / downloaded·produced files / whole folders — nothing is deleted accidentally by default; Unarchive from the Archived tab; Open record folder opens the selected session's record directory in your OS file manager; expand each row for details (size on disk, last update, activity stats including turns/steps/messages/tool-call distribution/fetch history, produced/downloaded files, parent and child fork sessions); subagent sessions nested under their parent conversation with a 'subagent' badge; deleting a parent session does NOT cascade — subagent children, forks, and files are kept unless explicitly selected.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add https://codeload.github.com/Zephyr-vibe/dsh-archived-sessions/tar.gz/refs/heads/mainCorrected 2026-09-05 by quality-gate audit: npm dsh-archived-sessions is a DIFFERENT plugin — its registry repository field resolves to github.com/Jxy-hy/dsh-archived-sessions (maintainer jmingming), not this repo. Install THIS plugin (Zephyr-vibe Session Manager) from its own repo tarball per the README: dsh plugin --profile web add https://codeload.github.com/Zephyr-vibe/dsh-archived-sessions/tar.gz/refs/heads/main. If pnpm blocks build scripts, append --ignore-scripts. After install, restart dsh web — the Session Manager entry appears in Settings.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness web profile. Adapted for DSH 0.1.0-rc.8: since rc.8 the official sidebar row menu (⋮) no longer exposes a plugin injection point (only Rename / Fork / Archive remain), so the delete button moved to the opened session's title bar (🗑 trash icon). Zero config: session directories auto-detected from DSH config. Subagent sessions appear nested under their parent conversation (indented, with a 'subagent' badge); when a parent is deleted or missing they surface as top-level rows. The currently open session shows a 'Current' badge and cannot be deleted. Cross-platform 'Open record folder' uses explorer / open / xdg-open.

FAQ
- Does deleting a session also delete its subagent sessions?
- No — deleting a parent session does not cascade. Subagent children, forks, and downloaded/produced files are kept unless you explicitly select them in the confirmation dialog. Nothing is lost accidentally.
- Why did the delete button disappear from the sidebar menu?
- Since DSH 0.1.0-rc.8 the official sidebar row menu (⋮) no longer exposes a plugin injection point. The plugin adapts by placing the Delete session button in the opened session's title bar (🗑 trash icon), where the confirmation dialog lets you choose what to delete with fine-grained options.
- How are sessions from different workspaces shown?
- The 'grouped by workspace' view groups sessions by their workspace; sessions with no workspace assignment fall back to an 'Ungrouped' bucket. The flat-list view shows all sessions newest-first regardless of workspace.
