reinocheong/dsh-session-move

Move a session to another folder from the Web UI via drag & drop or a menu picker, permanently delete a session with a risk-consent dialog, and AI-rename a session by summarizing the whole conversation (typo-aware). Each action also ships as an agent tool.

Manages DeepSeek Harness sessions from the Web UI, filling gaps the official UI leaves open: moving a session to another workspace (drag & drop or a picker dialog), permanently deleting a session rather than only archiving it (menu → risk-consent dialog → full removal), and one-click AI renaming that summarises the whole conversation instead of only the first message. Each feature also ships as an agent tool (workbench_session_move, workbench_session_delete, workbench_session_rename_ai). Moving a session rewrites the session header's cwd, moves the persisted log to the target folder's storage slug and updates workspace accounting; deletion stops running agents first, then removes the log directory, projection-cache row and workspace accounting.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/reinocheong/dsh-session-move/archive/refs/tags/v0.1.5.tar.gz

README Install block quoted verbatim (the README labels the GitHub tarball the recommended route "until published to npm"). Tarball URL verified HTTP 200 on 2026-09-16. The repo's git tags include v0.1.5 while its GitHub Releases list shows v0.1.0 and v0.1.1, so pin the tarball tag the README names. After installing, restart the profile (the README shows sudo systemctl restart dsh for systemd-managed installs).

Compatibility

README: a dual-face (host + browser) plugin installed with dsh plugin add, which registers the patch entry automatically; manual installs that copy the package into ~/.dsh/profiles/node_modules/ must add the session-move insert row to the profile's cordis.patch.yml themselves. The README notes the plugin has zero runtime dependencies beyond what dsh already ships (dsh-tools, dsh-llm, dsh-session-title, dsh-session-title-llm, dsh-timeout).

Recent updates

The README documents the three session operations and the agent tools rather than a release-by-release table; the README's install line pins the v0.1.5 tarball.

FAQ

How do I install it?
The README's command is dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/reinocheong/dsh-session-move/archive/refs/tags/v0.1.5.tar.gz, then restart the profile.
What does it add that stock dsh lacks?
Per the README: moving a session to another workspace, permanently deleting a session (stock only archives), and AI-renaming from the whole conversation rather than the first message.
Can my agent use these operations?
Yes — the README documents agent tools workbench_session_move, workbench_session_delete and workbench_session_rename_ai.
