A plug-in for deepseek harness, used to display the balance of api-key and api service status in real time
dsh-account-hud is a dockable/draggable floating widget showing DeepSeek API balance and service status. Balance comes from the official GET /user/balance endpoint through a server-side proxy — the API key never reaches the browser; service status polls https://status.deepseek.com/feed.rss every 60s. The widget docks in the session header by default (next to the PTC mode control) and expands on hover; dragging it out of the header turns it into a floating window, and dragging it back re-docks it. It registers an 'Account' tab in the sidebar when dsh-better-sidebar is installed. Without a key the balance area shows 'No API key configured' while the status display keeps working.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-account-hudnpm dsh-account-hud 0.1.1 verified 2026-09-02 (repository field → github.com/namesColin/DSH-Plugin-Account-HUD; README bilingual zh/en with full EN sections). Install per README: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-account-hud, restart DSH (dsh web), then open the web UI and hard-refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) — a balance capsule appears in the header. DSH v0.1 adapter; the API key is optional (only the balance feature needs it) and is read from DSH's credential system — never the browser.
