Long-term memory for DSH that keeps the per-turn cost small: it preloads only your standing feedback rules and finds everything else through a local SQLite full-text index, storing memories as plain Markdown in Claude Code's memory format.
dsh-unified-memory is long-term memory for DSH that avoids the cost of preloading a whole memory index on every turn. Whatever a memory system puts in the system prompt is paid on every turn whether or not the task needs it, so this plugin preloads only your standing feedback rules and finds everything else through a local SQLite full-text index when a task calls for it — on a store of about 150 memories that is roughly 1.3k tokens per turn against about 15k with the whole index preloaded, and the per-turn cost stays nearly flat as the store grows. That matters most where context is scarce (locally hosted models, long agentic runs). Memories are plain Markdown in Claude Code's format, so it can share one store with Claude Code so neither agent relearns what the other knows.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:mattcarvercom/dsh-unified-memory#v1.0.1Copied verbatim from the README's install section (a github: spec pinned to tag v1.0.1). The README also shows a local-checkout form (dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-unified-memory).
Compatibility
A DSH plugin that keeps the per-turn cost of memory small. It runs in three modes — dsh (its own private store at ~/.dsh/memory), overlay (its own store plus Claude Code's memories, read-only) and shared (writes to Claude Code's memory folder so both agents read and write the same memories). Every file dsh creates records its provenance in frontmatter, so switching modes is a mechanical migration and everything dsh wrote can be removed with one command. A companion fork of opencode-claude-memory shares the same folders.
