Fills in the Web UI's missing IDE workbench: resizable chat / editor / files-and-Git columns in Conversation, multi-tab file editing with save and new-file, workspace Terminal, a file tree with name filter and open-in-external-editor, SCM (stage/commit/push/pull, branch switch, Git graph, inline diffs), a status bar, and git_* model tools.
dsh-workbench-plugin turns the DeepSeek Harness Web UI into a three-column workbench: the conversation stays on the left while two right columns add an editor area (Agent Control Plane + smart terminal) and a side dock for Files, Git, Usage and Ultra Slash. The Agent Control Plane shows an execution-trajectory timeline (user → LLM → tools → agent reply, expandable I/O) plus a Capabilities page for the current session's model, tools and prompt sections. Ultra Slash injects guidance without stopping the running turn; Canvas renders live React previews of agent-written .canvas/*.canvas.tsx prototypes. The smart terminal is a real local PTY where shell lines run as-is and natural language is translated by an AI command assist (Alt+I) into the current shell, with a blacklist blocking destructive commands. 'Add to chat' drags files, DevTools network requests, or terminal output into the composer as reference chips; Source Control generates AI commit messages; notification sounds chime when a session finishes or waits on you.
