dsh-handoff-compaction is a DSH context-compression plugin aimed at small-context models. It turns older conversation into a structured # Context Handoff, keeps recent messages in their original form, and lets the agent search and read the full history for an earlier detail, so long development and debugging sessions keep the task's goals, progress, decisions, constraints, next steps and verification status at hand. The compressed context budget is visually configurable on the Web plugin detail page: the defaults are 8192 + 16000 tokens (8k + 16k) for the summary limit and recent-context retention, with Save, Restore defaults and persistence across restarts. The configuration fields are maxTokens and retainTokens, and /compact triggers compaction manually.
