DSH-Desktop is an Electron desktop shell for DeepSeek Harness: it bundles node + pnpm, installs @deepseek-ai/dsh into ~/.dsh/runtime on first launch, spawns dsh web --host 127.0.0.1 --port <free-port>, and serves the UI in a browser window. Upgrading DSH is a one-click in-app action (detect newer version on launch → Update → restart), with no rebuild or re-signing required.
Install
Download DSH-Desktop-*.dmg (macOS) or DSH-Desktop Setup *.exe / *-win.zip (Windows) from GitHub ReleasesPrebuilt packages are published on GitHub Releases. macOS: open the .dmg, drag DSH-Desktop.app into /Applications, then run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/DSH-Desktop.app because the app is unsigned. Windows: run the installer or unzip the portable archive; the build is unsigned so SmartScreen may warn (More info → Run anyway). First launch installs the DSH runtime (~1–2 min).
