DSH Service Console is a local development service console for the Harness web UI: it discovers listening TCP ports, attributes each service to the current chat, workspace, machine or the protected set, and lets you safely inspect, gracefully stop or restart them behind double confirmation and fingerprint checks.
DSH Service Console gives the DeepSeek Harness web UI one place to see local development servers - npm run dev, Vite, Next.js, Uvicorn, Express, Rust and the like. It scans listening TCP ports and correlates PID, PPID, command, working directory, process group and start time (macOS/Linux), then attributes each service with a five-level ownership signal (This chat matched against the session launch ledger, Workspace, Other local, Unknown, Protected) and presents it in an expanded record card in the Web UI's own visual language. Control is deliberately careful: a graceful stop targets the process group with SIGTERM first, restart reuses a saved launch command, every action is confirmed twice and re-validated against a fresh snapshot with PID-reuse/fingerprint checks before any signal, and system-critical, high-privilege, unknown or protected processes stay read-only. The client never sends raw PIDs or shell commands - it targets a service ID and the Host re-validates identity before acting.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add -w @jiyr0119/dsh-service-console@latestCopied verbatim from the README's recommended native-package install block; the README also documents a zero-build dynamic paste of dynamic/host.js + dynamic/client.js through the dynamic Cordis plugin flow.
Compatibility
Works on macOS and Linux; Windows is not supported yet. After installing, refresh the DSH web UI and a 🖥 SC entry appears in the conversation header opening the console panel. Scanning is on-demand (opening the console fetches one snapshot; no background polling), unknown and protected services are read-only, force-kill is off by default and there is no implicit auto-cleanup, and sensitive tokens in command summaries are redacted.
