AIcivilization/dsh-vps-manager

Operate a VPS from inside DeepSeek Harness: zero-token /vps- commands, a recipe library, an in-chat terminal and Files page.

Lets you use a VPS inside DeepSeek Harness almost like SSH: 21 zero-token /vps- commands (status, disk, installs, reboot, etc. that skip the model), a recipe library of 29 repeatable recipes, an in-conversation terminal and Files page, and the ability to tell the model what to do so it operates the server. Every connection must pass three checks — DSH's own sign-in check, a same-origin check and a plugin token — and opens only on loopback. Several computers can manage the same server at once, each with its own key.

Install

dsh plugin add dsh-vps-manager

Copied verbatim from the README's Install section ('run the line below in the DSH terminal'), which is preceded by the primary path — search for dsh-vps-manager in the DSH plugin market and click install, then restart DSH and add a machine under Settings → VPS Manager.

Compatibility

The README says it works with DSH on Windows, macOS and Linux, in both DSH Desktop and command-line dsh web, and needs an SSH client (the built-in OpenSSH Client, usually already present on Windows 10/11). It notes the install is light — no native modules to compile; the only runtime dependencies are ws and yaml.

FAQ

Do the /vps- commands spend model tokens?
No. The README labels them zero-token commands that skip the model, for things like checking status, installing software and rebooting.
Do I have to compile anything on my machine?
No. The README says the install is light — no native modules (no node-pty to compile); the pseudo-terminal on the server is requested with ssh -tt and the only runtime dependencies are ws and yaml.
