idoall/dsh-update-status

A DSH Web version-status panel with copy-only upgrade guidance and an opt-in, supervised safe restart.

DSH Update Status adds a version-status panel to the DeepSeek Harness Web sidebar: a green dot next to the version means the running release is the newest npm publishes, and a breathing amber dot means a newer release exists (stable, release candidate or alpha). Tapping the chip shows the running version, the newer release, whether this plugin was verified against it, and a copy-only upgrade command pinned to that exact version — plus the guarded Restart control once you have installed user-level supervision. It is deliberately non-invasive: it never installs or rolls back DSH itself.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-update-status@latest

Copied verbatim from the README's Install section (it also shows a pnpm-prefixed form and a link:$(pwd) dev form). The README states: 'It does not modify DSH core, install or upgrade DSH, roll back DSH packages, download releases, or replace DSH files. It can request a safe restart only after you explicitly install a verified user-level service to supervise the current DSH Web process.'

Compatibility

The README says the plugin shadows only the expanded sidebar brand name with a compact version chip and leaves the official fish mark untouched. The guarded Restart control appears only after you install its verified user-level supervision service (dsh plugin --profile web exec dsh-update-status-service install), which is an explicit, opt-in step.
