This better-sidebar add-on restores rich previews for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without forcing every sidebar user to download the large Office rendering stack. It registers docx-preview for styled documents, Univer plus SheetJS for spreadsheets, and a browser-native PPTX renderer with slide navigation. The viewer descriptors preserve better-sidebar's existing routes and fallback behavior, so a failed render still offers a download instead of trapping the file in a broken panel.

Compatibility
