hootandy321/dsh-Agentlink

dsh-Agentlink lets you use DeepSeek Harness (DSH) from the AI work tool you already use: your primary agent (Codex or Claude Code) can delegate implementation, research, debugging, and long-log work to DSH, then observe, continue, or cancel those sessions without leaving its normal workflow. It wires an MCP bridge (dsh_agentlink) into the caller, adds a shipped Claude Code skill, and routes delegated tasks to your running DSH Web Host with explicit approval handling (dsh_resolve_approval requires human interaction). The README also ships a copy-paste install prompt you can send to Codex or another coding agent to perform the setup itself.

Install

git clone https://github.com/hootandy321/dsh-Agentlink.git && cd dsh-Agentlink && npm install && npm run setup

Clone + setup flow per README (bridge plugin — the DSH side works through your existing DSH Web Host; install is a repo checkout, not a dsh bundle add): git clone https://github.com/hootandy321/dsh-Agentlink.git, cd dsh-Agentlink, npm install. For Codex: npm run setup && npm run doctor (the wizard backs up the Codex TOML config and installs the MCP entry with approval_mode = "prompt"). For Claude Code 2.1.199+: npm run setup:claude -- --project /absolute/path/to/project (edits only that project's .mcp.json and .claude/skills/claude-code-dsh/SKILL.md; use --replace only after reviewing existing entries). Prerequisites: Node.js 22+, a supported caller (Codex or Claude Code), and a working DSH CLI (0.1.0-rc.6/rc.7 tested targets) with dsh web running.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness as the delegated worker; callers: Codex (supported via npm run setup) and Claude Code (supported via npm run setup:claude); ZCode in progress; OpenCode and Workbuddy planned (directions, not commitments). Requires Node.js 22+. The Codex wizard installs the MCP entry with approval_mode = prompt; the Claude setup reports MCP registration, project trust, skill status, approval support, DSH permission/sandbox ownership, and DSH Host reachability separately. Never starts or stops dsh web for you.

FAQ

Which callers are supported today?
Codex and Claude Code have installation paths in this repository (npm run setup / npm run setup:claude). ZCode integration is in progress; OpenCode, Workbuddy, and other tools are planned.
Does it modify my Codex config?
The Codex wizard backs up the Codex TOML configuration before installing the MCP entry (approval_mode = "prompt"). For Claude Code it edits only the target project's .mcp.json and .claude/skills/claude-code-dsh/SKILL.md, preserving unrelated servers.
Can it start or stop my DSH?
No — dsh-Agentlink never starts or stops dsh web for you; you run the official DSH Web Host yourself and the bridge connects to it.
