DSH plug-in: flutter-doctor style diagnosis and repair (installation level + in-harness inspection, safe automatic repair)

A flutter-doctor-style diagnose and repair for DeepSeek Harness. The /doctor command runs every check in-harness (including harness-level checks: mounted plugin states, repository plugins, sessions, settings, credential chain, web.log) and prints a flutter-style report. The terminal CLI (node bin/dsh-doctor.mjs) works even when web is down and --fix applies safe repairs automatically, prompting for the API key; everything else prints copy-pasteable manual commands. Install-level checks cover privilege, node, git, pnpm, install layout, staging leftovers, PATH, ownership, hooks, credentials, and git state.

Install

edit $DSH_HOME/cordis.patch.yml (add repository-plugins patch entry)

dsh-doctor uses the official repository-plugin format (.dsh-plugin/ + package.json#dsh.entry). Installing means adding one patch entry to $DSH_HOME/cordis.patch.yml — the machine-level patch layer shared by every profile: target the empty repository-plugins row that the dsh-base bundle already mounts, replacing that row's config with your source list. The top level of cordis.patch.yml must be an ARRAY of patch entries (a keyed map starting with repository-plugins: is rejected at boot). English edition README.en.md documented 2026-08-25. Also ships a same-name terminal CLI: node bin/dsh-doctor.mjs.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness with the dsh-base bundle (mounts the empty repository-plugins row). Works even when the web UI is down via the terminal CLI.

FAQ

How is this plugin installed?
Via the official repository-plugin format: add one patch entry to $DSH_HOME/cordis.patch.yml that targets the empty repository-plugins row mounted by dsh-base and replaces its config with your source list.
What checks does /doctor run?
Install-level checks (privilege, node, git, pnpm, install layout, staging leftovers, PATH, ownership, hooks, credentials, git state) plus harness-level checks (mounted plugin states, repository plugins, sessions, settings, credential chain, web.log).
Can I repair things when the web UI is down?
Yes — the terminal CLI (node bin/dsh-doctor.mjs) works even when web is down. --fix applies safe repairs automatically; everything else prints exact manual commands.
