apify/apify-deepseek-harness-plugin
Search, run and build Apify Actors directly from DSH — an entry skill, the hosted Apify MCP server, and skills for multi-step scraping, Actor development, actorization, output-schema generation and SDK integration.
The Apify plugin lets a DSH agent search, run and build Apify Actors from chat. An apify entry skill routes each request to the right skill or tool, the hosted Apify MCP server (https://mcp.apify.com/) searches the Apify Store and fetches Actor details and docs (and, with a token, runs Actors and reads their results), and additional skills cover apify-ultimate-scraper (multi-step scraping workflows across 15+ platforms), apify-actor-development (create, test and deploy a new Actor), apify-actorization (turn an existing project into an Actor), apify-generate-output-schema and apify-sdk-integration. Skills load when a request matches them, or run one directly as /<skill-name>.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-apify-pluginCopied verbatim from the README's Install section (plugins are installed per dsh profile). The README says to add an APIFY_TOKEN to a .env file where dsh is launched and to restart dsh, since it reads the token once at startup.
Compatibility
Requires Node.js ^22.19.0 || >=24.2.0 and pnpm on PATH (on older Node the README notes dsh exits without printing anything). An Apify API token enables running Actors — free accounts work — and without one only the search/inspect tools load. If the logged-in Apify CLI is already present, the agent can run Actors through it instead (requires Full access sandbox mode).
