Alphauni-x/dsh-ds-home-bg
A deep-navy aurora background theme for the DSH web UI: layered radial glows, a fine grid and a drifting halftone whale on the conversation view only, with surfaces left neutral so nothing else is tinted. The palette follows the host Appearance setting automatically, and a Settings → General toggle switches the whole decoration off and on.
dsh-ds-home-bg is a deep-navy aurora background theme for the DeepSeek Harness web UI: layered radial glows, a fine 44 px grid and a drifting halftone whale motif, applied to the conversation view only so the rest of the UI keeps the host's own surfaces (inputs, cards, menus, sidebar and dialogs stay neutral). It defines both a dark palette (#0B1120 base with three slowly breathing glows) and a light palette (#EEF3FA with softer glows), and the palette automatically follows the host's Appearance setting (Dark, Light or System) with no separate theme picker, so it can never disagree with your choice. A switch in Settings → General (a 'Background skin' group after the system Appearance group) turns all decoration off and restores the stock background instantly and back on again.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Alphauni-x/dsh-ds-home-bgCopied verbatim from the README's 'One command, from GitHub' block, which follows it with a restart of dsh web; a pinned-tag form github:Alphauni-x/dsh-ds-home-bg#v0.1.0 and a local-checkout form are also documented. The README notes the package ships plain ESM with no build step, so no allowBuilds entry is required, and that github: specs resolve to a commit at install time and are not auto-updated by the plugin market.
Compatibility
A DSH web UI background theme verified end-to-end on dsh 0.1.1-rc.2. It needs no manual package.json editing and ships no build step, so pnpm's blocked-build-scripts policy never applies. State persists in browser localStorage, and the palette always follows the host Appearance setting by design.
