AKIRACOD/dsh-drag-and-drop

DeepSeek Harness Web UI plugin: drop local files and attach them as chips above the composer — send without typing, no 'images only' toast. Fork of omdsh-dev/dsh-drag-and-drop.

Drag local files or folders onto any part of the DeepSeek Harness Web UI and their original absolute filesystem paths are inserted into the current conversation input — without uploading, moving, or copying anything. Dropped documents and folders appear as removable chips in a bar above the composer (the input stays free for typing), with its own Send button that prepends resolved paths to the outgoing message. Dropping a document no longer triggers the composer's misleading 'images only' toast; image-only drops keep the native thumbnail behavior. When the browser hides the path entirely, the plugin resolves the file back to its real location through the current Workspace, registered Workspaces, the OS file index, and a bounded directory search.

FAQ

What happens when I drop a file?
Its original absolute filesystem path is inserted into the conversation input as a removable chip — nothing is uploaded, moved, or copied.
How does it find the real path?
It converts the browser's local file URI to the native path; when hidden, it resolves through the current Workspace, registered Workspaces, the OS file index, and a bounded directory search.
What about images?
Image-only drops keep the original thumbnail behavior; documents get chips instead of pasted path text and no 'images only' error.
