dsh-plugin-model-icons puts a real per-provider brand icon on the DeepSeek Harness composer's model-select button, collapsing to icon-only on a narrow row, and falls back to a neutral sparkle glyph for providers it does not recognize so the button never renders blank.
dsh-plugin-model-icons is a small composer polish for DeepSeek Harness: the model-select button shows a real brand icon for the active provider instead of plain text, and collapses to icon-only when the composer row gets narrow - the same responsive mechanism DSH's own built-in access-mode button uses, applied consistently to the model button. Detection works off the visible model name text (for example 'GLM 5.3 Flash', 'gpt-4o', 'claude-3.5-sonnet') rather than an internal provider id, since DSH's client-side model catalog exposes no provider id. Providers recognized out of the box include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini), DeepSeek, Zhipu/GLM, xAI/Grok, Meta/Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Moonshot/Kimi and Cohere; any unrecognized or newly released model safely gets a neutral sparkle glyph rather than a blank space or broken render, and adding a brand mark is a one-line entry in the source PROVIDERS array.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add @gz2016/dsh-plugin-model-iconsCopied verbatim from the README's CLI install block; the README additionally instructs adding "@gz2016/dsh-plugin-model-icons" to dsh.profile.bundles in ~/.dsh/profiles/web/package.json and restarting, because DSH 0.2 only loads a profile package that is selected as a bundle.
Compatibility
Requires DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1-alpha.2 or newer; the README notes the 0.1 release does not load on 0.2 because its peer versions are pinned to 0.1.1-rc.2. A pure client-side patch (src/client.js, no build step) with no host-side behaviour and no configuration. English README.
