Codex App Server model provider using a local Codex login, with session reuse, Harness tool bridging, native action traces, and durable generated-image projection.
dsh-llm-codex-app-server registers a DeepSeek Harness main-model provider backed by the locally authenticated Codex App Server, so 'codex-local' becomes a selectable provider for the agent loop. It differs from Harness's built-in @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent-codex (which exposes Codex as a delegated child Agent): this package registers on ctx.llm. An ordinary conversation session reuses one pinned @openai/codex App Server in a private empty directory with one ephemeral thread while its bounded cache lease is valid; the plugin never reads, copies, logs or stores OAuth tokens or API keys, and out-of-tree installs do not modify the deepseek-harness repository.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-llm-codex-app-server@latestnpm dsh-llm-codex-app-server 0.1.20 verified 2026-09-04 (repository field → github.com/wss534857356/dsh-plugin-codex — npm name differs from the repo name; README EN primary w/ zh edition). Install the immutable published version: dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-llm-codex-app-server@latest, then --dump-config and restart. Targets DSH >=0.1.2-alpha.1 <0.2.0. Authenticate the native Codex CLI once first (codex login) — the plugin reuses the native Codex account state under CODEX_HOME.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness >=0.1.2-alpha.1 <0.2.0; native Codex CLI login (codex login) reusing CODEX_HOME account state.
