You can work by voice — dictate a request or talk through code and documents — bring the assistant into a meeting by capturing and reviewing the discussion and asking it to compare proposals or summarize decisions, and stay in control with review before sending, manual or automatic delivery, and pause/resume/stop for spoken answers. Speech setup is configurable: local recognition and speech engines where supported, or an HTTP endpoint. The plugin UI is translated into English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Hindi and Chinese (the plugin UI, not the speech engines' language support).
Install
npx dsh plugin add --profile web dsh-live-voiceCopied verbatim from the README's Quick Start (the prebuilt npm package, no source build required). The README then says to open DSH Settings → Live Voice after your next DSH startup.
Compatibility
Local-first: speech recognition and speech engines can run locally where supported or be pointed at an HTTP endpoint, but the README notes local-first voice does not make DSH or its AI provider fully offline. Meeting audio capture and sharing the assistant's voice need separate setup, and this is not a native Meet or Teams integration.
