NiuZhuang/dsh-git-ai
Records which files the agent edited, with which model and in which session, into git-ai: it listens on the harness's tools/pre-execute and tools/post-execute interception points, translates each relevant tool call into git-ai's agent-v1 checkpoint payload and invokes git-ai checkpoint with that JSON on stdin — so after a commit git-ai writes the attribution into git notes as ai_additions/ai_accepted per tool-model pair, visible in a VS Code hover.
dsh-git-ai records which files the agent edited, with which model and in which session, into git-ai. It listens on the harness's tools/pre-execute and tools/post-execute interception points and translates each relevant tool call into git-ai's generic agent-v1 checkpoint payload: successful write/edit and str_replace_editor calls become an ai_agent payload with edited_filepaths, and bash/pwsh calls emit pre_shell_command and post_shell_command payloads. It then invokes git-ai checkpoint <preset> --hook-input stdin with that JSON on stdin — git-ai itself is never modified. After the agent commits, git-ai writes the attribution into git notes and reports ai_additions/ai_accepted per tool-model pair, so hovering a line of code in VS Code shows who wrote it, with which model and in which DSH session.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-git-aiCopied verbatim from the README's Install block. The README adds a pnpm ≥10 note: use dsh plugin --profile web add -w dsh-git-ai (or add ignore-workspace-root-check: true to the profile's pnpm-workspace.yaml once) because dsh profiles are pnpm workspace roots and dsh plugin add forwards to pnpm.
Compatibility
Requires DeepSeek Harness installed via npm (the plugin peer-depends on the official @deepseek-ai/* packages) and the git-ai CLI installed and on PATH (or gitAiPath pointed at it). Configurable per row: gitAiPath, agentName, model, checkpointPreset (agent-v1), timeoutMs and trackBash.
