dsh-web-access ports pi-web-access onto DeepSeek Harness: web_search / web_access_search with 20+ providers and fallback, fetch_content for pages/GitHub clones/PDFs/YouTube/local video, get_search_content for stored slices and passage find, and source_check for claim verification — plus optional ctx.web providers so the official web_search / web_fetch tools can use the same backends. Commands include /websearch, /curator, /search, /google-account and /webaccess; a Web UI overlay registers on the official shell.overlay slot (with a script-inject fallback), and official card: 'web' search/fetch cards, background-fetch notices and image attachments arrive when ctx.attachments is present. A zero-config Exa / DuckDuckGo / SearXNG setup works the same way as pi-web-access; provider keys are added per-provider.
Install

If the profile already has the official @deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-web web_search, this plugin registers as web_access_search instead of colliding; set replaceOfficialSearch: true to keep the web_search name. Config file web-access.json is read from $DSH_WEB_ACCESS_DIR, $PI_CODING_AGENT_DIR, $DSH_HOME, $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/dsh|pi, or ~/.dsh|~/.pi. Independent plugin, not affiliated with DeepSeek AI.
