dsh-kimi-formula plugs Kimi's official Formula API into DSH using only the Moonshot API key you already have: it adds a kimi-official web search provider so the built-in web_search gains Kimi-native retrieval, plus ten kimi_* tools for date math, base64, Excel, fetch, memory and more.
dsh-kimi-formula lets a DSH session use Kimi (Moonshot AI) official Formula API tools with nothing but the Kimi API key you already use for chat, closing the gap where DSH's built-in web_search ships with providers whose keys you do not have. It adds a kimi-official ctx.web search provider so the built-in web_search gains Kimi-native retrieval - each search runs an auxiliary chat loop whose protected results arrive as an encrypted envelope and are fed back untouched, with sources extracted from the links the model itself cites - and registers ten model-facing kimi_* tools for the remaining official formulas: kimi_convert, kimi_date, kimi_base64_encode, kimi_base64_decode, kimi_random_choice, kimi_memory, kimi_excel, kimi_fetch, kimi_rethink and kimi_mew.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Medesol/dsh-kimi-formulaCopied verbatim from the README's 'One command' install block; the README notes pnpm fetches straight from GitHub and prints a 'declares no dsh.bundle' line that is expected because the plugin is activated by a patch row. A local-clone form using dsh plugin --profile web add "$PWD" is also documented.
Compatibility
Speaks Kimi's official Formula API, so no DeepSeek, Exa or Perplexity key is required. The kimi-official provider plugs into DSH's web capability seam and the plugin is mounted by adding two rows to the profile's user patch layer (~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml) - one switching the web seam's searchProvider to kimi-official (restating fetchProvider), one inserting the plugin - after which dsh web is restarted. Kimi's docs also list quickjs and code-runner formulas, but both currently answer 404 formula not found on api.moonshot.cn so they are not registered.
