luckbug0817/deepseekharness-claude-theme
Registers two Claude-inspired appearance themes with a compatible DeepSeek Harness Web profile: claude-sandstone (light) and claude-ink (dark). It is a browser-side client plugin whose Node entry is intentionally a no-op: the bundled client entry waits for the profile's public theme service and registers both themes through ctx.theme.register(), using only that public service and never modifying harness core files. A profile still decides which registered theme to apply.
Install
npm ci
npm run bundle
npm pack
npm install /absolute/path/to/deepseek-claude-web-theme-0.1.0.tgzREADME 'Build and install into an existing profile' block quoted verbatim: build the bundle from the checkout, then add the produced tarball to the configuration package that anchors your existing DSH profile's dependency resolution, and add deepseek-claude-web-theme to that profile's composed Web client Loader entries alongside the already-enabled @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-theme. The README explicitly states that npm install deepseek-claude-web-theme alone does not create a runnable profile and is not a supported setup path (registry check 2026-09-16: that name returns 404 anyway). Restart the Web server after changing profile configuration or dependencies.
Compatibility
README: use it only with a DSH Web profile that already composes and enables @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-theme, exposes the public ctx.theme.register(definition) service, and supports DSH client packages in its Loader/profile configuration; the manifest declares the same client dependency through dsh.client.inject. If the plugin reports that theme is unavailable, the README says to repair or upgrade the profile first — changing this package will not supply the missing DSH runtime. FAQ
- Can I just npm install it?
- No — the README says npm install deepseek-claude-web-theme alone does not create a runnable profile and is not a supported setup path; build the tarball from the checkout and add it to your existing profile's dependency resolution instead.
- What themes does it add?
- Two Claude-inspired appearances: claude-sandstone (light) and claude-ink (dark).
- It says 'theme' is unavailable — what now?
- Per the README the profile has not composed the UI-theme client service correctly; repair or upgrade that profile first, because changing this package will not supply the missing DSH runtime.
