dsh-capability-toggle-plugin is a DSH WebUI plugin for controlling agent capabilities with real runtime enforcement. It manages skills, MCP servers, tools, prompt injections, approval escalation and five opt-in safety guards across three independent levels — session, project and global — where the nearest explicit value wins and unset defers to the next level (with everything unset, the capability stays enabled). Each family enforces differently: tool and MCP restrictions use ctx.tools.restrict({ deny }) and forced calls are refused; skills are shadowed by a same-named registration; prompt injections are a presence-checked allowlist. Every mechanism is scoped to the current agent, so global registrations are not mutated, and each committed change reconciles every live agent binding.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:lifeopsgo/dsh-capability-toggle-plugin#v2.0.0Copied verbatim from the README's Quick start (the upgrade/downgrade command uses the same tag). The README says to restart the DSH Web GUI process and refresh, and to start it with dsh --profile web web when stopped; the control sits beside the ➕ button while the agent is idle.
Compatibility
Requires Node.js ^22.19.0 or ≥ 24.0.0 (same as DSH 0.2.0-rc.1). Every DSH peer dependency is pinned to that release candidate, and the release makes no compatibility claim for other DSH versions. It reports 363 automated tests, host and client typechecks, a production build, framework-link validation, composed-profile inspection and browser verification.
