Projection-driven live DAG for session subagents and persistent workflows: state and node navigation, deep link deterministic layout, adapt/pan canvas, and drag-and-drop node reordering within the current session; no parallel database or Host polling

dsh-task-dag is a live task topology for DeepSeek Harness Web: see Sessions, delegated subagents, and durable workflows as one navigable DAG. It keeps no parallel workflow database and sends no polling requests — when Session state changes, the graph changes with it. Workflow phases and members are reconstructed from workflow-run Conversation Nodes after restart; workflow members group under workflow nodes instead of duplicate root-to-child edges; healthy, list-visible subagent Sessions open directly from their graph nodes. Canvas controls include whole-graph fit or original-size panning, node dragging (positions survive close/reopen for the current Session), and refresh of observed subagent catalogs.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:LeemanCheung/dsh-task-dag

GitHub bundle install per README: dsh plugin --profile web add github:LeemanCheung/dsh-task-dag (or pinned: dsh plugin --profile web add github:LeemanCheung/dsh-task-dag#v1.2.0). Restart the current DSH Web process once after the first installation, then refresh the page — the Task DAG action appears in the Session header. Client-only plugin over DSH's existing Client projections; no Host polling and no parallel workflow database.

Compatibility

DeepSeek Harness Web. Turns DSH's existing Client projections into a top-to-bottom dependency graph: SessionListState.byId/parentId for subagent lineage, SessionListState.subagentsByParent for labels/modes/activity, and workflow-run Conversation Nodes for durable workflow phases/members/outcomes. Rejects broken or cyclic lineage; deterministic layers for valid deep chains. Native presentation using DSH theme semantics with restrained status colors (business blue, success green, error red, warning amber) and custom SVG icons in light and dark modes; Cordis lifecycle ownership for UI/styles.

FAQ

Does it poll the host for updates?
No — dsh-task-dag reacts to DSH's existing Client projections (SessionListState and workflow-run Conversation Nodes). When Session state changes, the graph changes with it; no Host polling and no parallel workflow database.
Are my manual node positions saved?
They live only in the current page's current-Session React state: switching Sessions, refreshing, or restarting restores deterministic automatic layout. Workflow topology itself is rebuilt from durable Conversation Nodes.
Can I open a subagent from the graph?
Yes — select a subagent node (or press Enter/Space on it) to open that Session when it is available in the Session list; the graph groups workflow members under workflow nodes for clear ownership.
