Aegis is a method pack for more reliable AI coding agents: a projection layer that installs into your coding host (DeepSeek Harness native profile-plugin path included) and changes how the agent plans, verifies, and completes work. In a held-out A/B benchmark (120 valid runs, 20 cases, same Codex client/prompts in both arms) contract pass rate went from 61.67% to 93.33% (+31.67 pp) and unsafe outcomes from 13.33% to 0%. Provides install/update tooling (aegis-doctor.py, aegis-update.py) and a host-scoped registry.
