ego-browser brings CitroLabs/ego-lite (a Chromium built for AI agents) into DeepSeek Harness: 32 structured ego_* tools drive the browser deterministically, and a live observation window streams the agent's actual browsing (CDP JPEG or FFmpeg H.264) with a tab bar and history drawer, so you can watch the agent operate web pages in real time and even take over — clicking, dragging, and scrolling through the same browser via CDP input relay. Self-observation means you also see the agent operating DSH's own UI. The plugin auto-detects root/headless environments and ships --no-sandbox wrappers.

Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness via 32 structured ego_* tools (ego_space_open, ego_navigate, ego_click, ego_fill, ego_screenshot, ego_js, ego_cdp, ego_cli, ego_auth_flush, ego_captcha, and more). Observation window supports captureBackend=auto|cdp|ffmpeg (auto resolves to CDP); FFmpeg backend requires a compatible FFmpeg detected by the plugin. Linux/macOS/Windows with root/headless/--no-sandbox fallbacks.

FAQ
- How is it installed?
- The README shows dshx install ego-browser <ego-browser.tgz> (tarball or git URL) and dshx list to confirm; the exact release artifact needs verification against the repo before installing.
- Do I need to install a browser separately?
- No — the plugin bundles the ego runtime (runtime/, MIT), so no official repo clone or manual build is required.
- Can I watch and control the agent's browser?
- Yes — that is the core feature: a live observation window streams every page, and mouse input is relayed back through CDP so you can take over the same browser instance.
