dsh-llm-openai-completions revives a short-circuit backend for custom OpenAI-completions-compatible gateways (vLLM, LM Studio, self-hosted OpenAI proxies): it takes over the llm/stream waterfall for selected routes and speaks all three mainstream API formats per route - Chat Completions, Anthropic Messages and OpenAI Responses - always sending system as role: system so a custom gateway never receives developer, with multimodal true-send for image/audio/video/PDF behind a modality hard gate.
dsh-llm-openai-completions is an OpenAI-completions-compatible transport takeover for custom gateways (vLLM, LM Studio, self-hosted OpenAI proxies). For routes it takes over it short-circuits the llm/stream waterfall and serves them without guessing, keeping the data plane (baseURL, models, reasoningEfforts, compat, input) in llm-pi-ai and reading it live through settings.describe(). It speaks all three mainstream API formats per route api declaration - OpenAI Chat Completions, Anthropic Messages and OpenAI Responses - and always sends system as role: system, so a custom gateway never receives developer and the Unexpected message role 400 disappears even when thinking is enabled. Thinking is driven by the model's compat.thinkingFormat, it adds multimodal true-send (image/audio/video/PDF) behind a modality hard gate, and it exposes an llmOpenaiCompletions prompt-source seam for dsh-promptbook-class consumers.
Install

Compatibility
Revived as 0.3.0 (2026-10-05); the README lists full-rc dynamic compatibility across DSH 0.1.0-rc.8 to 0.2.0-rc.2, with the old settings.get-era architecture replaced by an explicit membership judgment (enabled && providers.includes(route)) and the switch living in the plugin's own settings section. It is built primarily for Xiaomi MiMo multimodal. English README with many translations.
