Verifiable narrative state, continuity and character-knowledge ledger for DeepSeek Harness
A read-only, verifiable story-state ledger for DeepSeek Harness — the evidence layer for machine-checkable story continuity, not a novel generator or writing-prompt wrapper. It verifies content-addressed external canon sources without copying manuscript prose, a contiguous immutable event sequence with monotonic story time, explicit fact assertions/retractions with resolvable IDs, single-value contradictions, character knowledge acquired only by witnessing, spoiler-safe projections, and stale/missing canon. Reports are deterministic content-addressed JSON with atomic publication and SHA-256 read-back. The ledger rejects prose/chapter/draft/prompt/secret-shaped fields, keeps paths inside workspaceRoot, rejects symlinks, and runs no shell or network. A proof-only stdio MCP server (inspect/verify/query inline) accepts bounded inline strings only — no filesystem access.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:dongsheng123132/dsh-narrative-ledgerGitHub install per README (English): dsh plugin --profile web add github:dongsheng123132/dsh-narrative-ledger. Node.js 22+. Exposes DSH tools dsh_narrative_ledger_inspect / _verify / _query. Version 0.2.0 uses a host-neutral namespace entry with no private DSH runtime dependency, so the stock Cordis Web loader can compose it safely.
Compatibility
DeepSeek Harness (dsh). Node.js 22+. Read-only evidence plugin — no shell, no network, no writes outside an explicit artifactDir.

FAQ
- Is it a novel generator?
- No — it is the complementary evidence layer for machine-checkable continuity: it verifies canon sources, event sequence, facts and character knowledge, and never writes manuscript prose.
- What can it verify?
- Contiguous event sequence, monotonic story time, fact assertions/retractions with resolvable IDs, contradictions (e.g. two simultaneous locations), witness-based character knowledge, and stale/missing canon.
- How safe is it?
- It runs no shell and makes no network requests; paths must stay inside workspaceRoot, symlinks are rejected, and only an explicit artifactDir may be written.
